Prayers & Wishes

Do you believe that wishing is praying?  We never hesitate to wish upon a star, birthday candles, closed eyes and crossed fingers, or dandelions blown with the wind of our breath.  Somehow superstition puts the power of our thoughts into action.  And for many, those work just as well as getting on our knees and "praying."  This, to me, is a reminder of the simplicity of prayer.  Standing in the gap for the bereaved.  Asking for ourselves, communities, nation, planet.. universe.

I am choosing to share this thought as an expression of my own wish to actualize writing in new and expansive ways. This blog, A Woman of Her Words™ is a place for me to commit to sharing and not worrying about who reads, befriends, or subscribes... Or not.  I launched this site in late 2009, and since then, it has changed several times over.  Now the time is ripe to explore and share more..

So whilst you might giggle and snicker about the continuous improvements... Just know.  This is a seed, the ripening will reveal the blossoms as time unfolds.
